With over 20 years’ experience in civil engineering, water, gas, energy and the construction industry, Peter leads the commercial and corporate development opportunities of the Comdain Group.
He is the driving force behind excellence across all business units in engineering and asset management, and responsible for the growth and success of the group building many of Australia’s world-class water and irrigation projects.
With qualifications in Applied Economics and Marketing, Peter provides an expert eye and strong focus on micro and macro-economic issues affecting infrastructure, and provides leadership and implementation for Strategic Marketing, IT, Management Reporting, OHS&Q Management and Human Resource Management.
Peter’s Project Governance roles include: Governance Team Member, Multinet Gas (OMSA); Establishment of Operations and on-going Governance for Sydney Water NFRP, South East Water Capital Program, and Sunraysia Modernisation Program; Joint Venture Committee Member for Goulburn Murray Water Connections Contract; and Program Governance for Water NSW, State Meters Program, and Queensland Water Capital Program.
He is Chair of Major Capital Projects Monthly Review and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
Chief Operating Officer
Jim is a senior executive with over 20 years’ experience in the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure across Australia, Asia and the US.
Through his career, Jim has worked in the Water, Power, Roads, Rail, Gas and Mining sectors and is experienced in team leadership and governance; business strategy and change management; and operational and financial management.
He has chaired a number of joint-venture boards and steering committees and has been instrumental in establishing governance protocols and key business-to-business relationships.
In his role at Comdain Infrastructure, Jim is responsible for the day-to-day operational performance and sustainable growth of the business.

Glenn has over 23 years’ experience in the finance sector in senior leadership roles across a diverse range of businesses including KPMG, Pitcher Partners, The Myer Family Company and Slade Pharmacy Services.
Glenn has extensive skills in management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, financial structuring, loan funding proposals, cost reduction and the development of strategic operating plans.
Glenn has driven due diligence and contract negotiations for a number of strategic acquisitions. As head of finance for two start-up companies he was involved in establishing investors, finance, IT systems, banking facilities and administrative systems for the launch of commercial operations.
Glenn combines strong commercial acumen with a terrific people focus. He builds productive and loyal relationships that encourage achieving optimum outcomes.
Glenn is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
General Manager Commercial, Legal & Risk
Kerry has over 20 years’ experience providing strategic legal advice in the utility infrastructure industry. He has held senior regulatory, commercial and legal positions, practicing and managing teams in private law firms, large corporations and professional consultancy service organisations.
In his role of General Manager Commercial, Legal and Risk, Kerry provides legal and commercial advice and governance guidance to the Comdain Infrastructure Group. Prior to his appointment, Kerry held senior leadership roles at PwC and AusNet Services in his capacity as a utility industry expert and legal advisor.

State Manager Victoria
Gary has over 30 years’ experience as a practical strategist leading change across a range of sectors including power, gas, forestry and local government services. He is a highly successful results driven executive with extensive international operations and large capital portfolio delivery experience gained in both service provider and asset owner environments across a number of government and public entities.
As the Victorian State Manager, Gary’s role focuses on ensuring Comdain delivers on commitments as well as growth of scalable and repeatable services for the Water and Gas maintenance and construction markets across Victoria.
With his expertise and a commitment to building strong collaborative relationships, Gary is focused on safety, quality, innovation, customer service and delivering exceptional outcomes.
State Manager New South Wales
Simon has worked in the water, irrigation and gas sectors for 18 years. He has extensive civil construction planning, scheduling, procurement, delivery and operations management experience, strong technical competencies combined with the ability to collaborate with asset owners, designers and authorities to fast-track delivery of projects when scope is not fully defined at inception.
With Simons’s experience in managing high profile teams he will be overseeing the New South Wales branch as State Manger. Simon is well known and respected in the industry with a reputation for team building and leadership, project management and the ability to build long standing partnerships.

State Manager Queensland
Robert’s career spans over 15 years within the construction industry with extensive field management experience. Roberts understanding of stakeholder management ensures smooth interactions between clients, local communities, subcontractors and approval authorities. His attention to detail together with a leadership and motivational approach ensures projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Initially brought on as Operations Manager in Queensland, Robert has since taken on the role of State Manager and through a collaborative approach and best practice solutions; Robert has assured Comdain’s position as a trusted provider of engineering and asset management solutions to the utilities sector.
Robert is an active participant in AWA and is highly motivated in improving the management of the nation’s critical water and gas infrastructure.
General Manager Irrigation
Alex has almost 20 years’ experience in the irrigation sector and his key skills include rural water management and more particularly, modernisation project management and irrigation environment management. He has a unique understanding of interactions between civil, mechanical and production environments and a proven track record in delivering exceptional outcomes across a multitude of irrigation projects in Victoria and New South Wales.
Alex has responsibility for the leadership, performance and growth of the Comdain irrigation business. He is actively involved in all aspects of this business. Alex’s role is highly hands-on, ensuring that the business embraces the vision of the client, driving innovation, best practice and value for money solutions.
Before his time with Comdain, Alex has held senior positions with Goulburn-Murray Water, Murray Irrigation Limited and Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority.

A performance-driven professional with a wealth of experience in driving strategic human resource initiatives, Eva has led a number of companies through successful transformations, promoting positive cultural and business outcomes in Australia and abroad.
Working across several sectors including government, mining, insurance and professional services, she has a unique understanding of what drives employee engagement, talent development, people strategy and successful performance management.
Eva’s role is to provide leadership and develop innovative human resource strategies and activities to foster growth in our people and increase the organisation’s effectiveness.
